●● Stress Day II ●●
Today is the second day of school, tiring as well, studying health assessment. Alastair Burn is my lecturer, he's super good! *thumbs-up* All the pathophysiology and the nursing knowledge are on his fingertips. Labels: RANTS, SCHOOL Days
Anyway, today was an extensive revision on all the health assessment components, nursing skills and pathophysiology. Learnt alot, really alot, truly. Had lots of notes and had more insight to the reasons and functions of those assessments that we're doing. After which, we had lab sessions! *cool* USYD's nursing labs are considered old compared to NYP but still well-equipped. We had lots of fun ascultating and listening to each other's chest and lungs' sounds. But, my brain was very fried after the day.
And, we walked all the way to Blackburn medical society bookshop to get our lewis' text. Damn ex. Cost me AUD$113plus even after 15% discount lo. And i got my stethoscope, my new baby, at the bookstore too :) It's v.v.v.pretty. The color is frosted glacier. Super cool. I lovveee it. A very different stethoscope from the usual ones and it's ultra-sensitive to sounds too.
It was so damn freaking tiring trying to lug that super-super-thick-text back home. Almost collapsed under the sun. Just 2 days of school and i'm pretty run down. Must learn to adapt to their style of studying here. It's another 3 essays from this module, mounting to 8500 words. So basically for just 2 modules, i have to write 4000+8500 = 12500 words worth of essays. *-_-*
I'm so homesick and nyp-sick. To think that i thought NYP is a killer, now, USYD has become the ultimate murderer on my list. Ahhh ahhh~~ I wish i could lie on bondi beach and watch the sky. Dreams.. they always seem so far away ... ... ...
