●● Back From Randwick ●●
It's the most tiring trip ever taken in sydney. My gosh, the bus trip was horrendously long and draggy. And i was suffering from the after-effects of car-motion-sickness. I think i'll totally flopped in bed later. Labels: OZ-oz
Today, we woke up really early to take our first ever bus ride to randwick. Just a little info, randwick to sydney is like east coast park to singapore. It's along the coast line of sydney and it has lots of beautiful beaches there. The sea's so deep blue, the sand's so white and the sun's really sunny. And of course, the sea breeze's fantastic. Randwick's defnitely an awesome suburb!
It's along the outer rim of the main sydney city, and even though it's quite a far ride from the city, it's beautifully equipped with lots of shops here and there.
We sat 370 and travelled for about 30-40 minutes and we saw a glimpse of the blue sea and we got really excited. Alighting at the coogee beach bus stop, Denise came to pick us up and we went for a ride in her car.
We went round alot of places in Randwick city. Places like Centennial Park, Chifley, Clovelly, Coogee, Kensington, Kingsford, La Perouse, Little Bay, Malabar, Maroubra, Matraville, Phillip Bay, Port Botany, Randwick, South Coogee.
*omigosh* And!!! Her car's so high tech! I totally dig her car! It's a Toyota Prius i-Tech Model.
Prius is a car fueled by petrol and electricity and she doesn't need to change much gear at all. There's no car key! And she has a rear view camera on the back of her car which shows her what's behind her car, the amazing thing is that the car has a video screen which shows her about the petrol consumption, backview of the car, and blah blah. It's totally cool!
If i'm going to have a car, this is the car that i'm going to have. It's such a fantastic invention, perhaps in the future, cars would have become so high tech that they would drive based on just verbal instructions. I would say "Turn left" and the car would turn left. HAHAHA :p
Enough of sidetracks, anyway, we had a proper and fulfilling discussion with Denise and Vicki about our community profile. It felt great working things out. At last, it doesn't seem so bleak and stressful, even though the workload's still so crazy.
We had a fun time playing with Denise's dog, her name's Molly and she's so adorable! Well, we grabbed our mac meals at Coogee beach after a little walk through the seaside. I love the australian sea!! I'm definitely returning there to have my proper fun, that would probably be just before i'm leaving for singapore at the end of the year.
