●● My Sunday! ●●
I had yum cha in the morning with the girls and angela's friend Caroline, who has just arrived in Sydney for a holiday. The yum cha was yummy-licious and it was surprisingly cheap. Each of us only had to fork out around 11bucks. Labels: OZ-oz
Afterwhich, Ying and I went for our little shopping trip around Market city, looking at clothes because the magnetic effects of those SALES and half-priced factory outlets were too powerful. I've totally fallen in love with playboy and i think i'm gonna get myself a shirt from there. Heeheehee :) The Polo Ralph Lauren was super magnetic too, the clothes were beautiful, even though they were on discount but it was still so expensive. However, i think i'm still going to lay my hands on them too.
Market city is a shopping center which houses many upmarket super branded shops. However, the shops here are all factory outlets, meaning the branded clothes all came directly from their producing factories and therefore, their items are all alot cheaper than their main shops. And therefore, i love shopping at Market city, i loves sales!!
I bought 2 tops from Supre and Cotton-On. Magnetic effect. Not my fault.
Anyway, we did our grocery shopping at thaikee supermarket, which is the asian supermarket that sells alot of asian and chinese things that those angmohs don't know about.
I found my 毛瓜 at thaikee and i was so happy! They named it the 'hairy melon' which i found hilarious. Anyway, i bought the hairy melon and i'm going to cook the 'hairy melon soup' 毛瓜汤. It's yummy-licious and nutritious!!
And i bought my ginseng roots!!! *yipppeee*
Finally i can cook ginseng chrysanthemum, i've been dying to drink this since i came here.
And one thing i've finally bought is my thermal wear which is so 'o-biang' and auntie. But no choice, i think the winter's gonna be a killer, so i've no choice but to wear the thermal wear. And anyway, it would be worn on the inside so no one except me can see how 'o-biang' it is.
Hahaha. I had my first try of the Oporto's Bondi chilli burger which is fantastic but it's so small. Nevertheless, today's really great with Ying because the grocery shopping really did helped to relieve alot of stress. Love her! *muacks*
Now, its back to working my community health profile which is so freaking boring!! HELP ME!!!
