I knew TR Knight and Katherine Heigl were rumored to be leaving 'Grey's Anatomy' but I certainly didn't expect THIS kind of season finale. Labels: The-Telly
I was so shocked to realise that George is the kind man with the burnt face. And Izzie's collapsing with one straight line on the ECG was so so sad.
I'm that tv geek who loves 'Happily Ever After' kind of ending. In reality, it's so damn difficult to get colleagues with such amazing chemistry. I am so sucked into the whole Grey's emo-momo plots, almost to the point that I'm both jealous and envious to see best-friends-kinda colleagues between Yang and Meredith. 2 girls pursing medicine, 2 girls fighting for the best cuts and surgeries, 2 girls bitching away, 2 of them being there for each other at their best and worst moments.
Ok, i'm turning like a freak.

I fell in love with this little boy. Shimizu Yuya, starred as 'Hanafusa Kento', first-grader in Monbu Elementary School. He's a very very very very very very very very adorable boy with a huge sense of curiosity. He will never left anything passed him without clarifying his doubts, even if it means getting into troubles. The guardians of other children dislike him and once, a teacher said that his brain was rotten. However, his mother patiently care for and believe in him.
Kento reminded me of the reason why we are all learning each day. I really love him a lot!! He's so cute, with such pinchable cheeks and a truly interesting attitude.
And anyone aspiring to be a teacher would be inspired by this show. Our education system is truly similar to that of the Japanese's system, as expected of an Asian culture. Students are expected to be 'good'. The definition of a good student is one who doesn't disturb the class order, one who doesn't question the teacher or rules, one who should sit quietly with hands on the lap.
I'm very affected by this definition. It's indeed true that the Western countries inculcate a different studying culture. Students are free to criticise the teachers or theories. And in fact, they encourage such interactions in class.
That's probably why I love studying in Sydney. It was so refreshing from our usual style. At the beginning, we were all taken aback and rather afraid to approach. Before we knew it, we were all engaging actively in all our classes, selecting various literatures and researches, critiquing their validities or research methods. It was intriguing debating with one another, squeezing our braincells and considering theories from varying perspectives.
It will indeed be absolutely dejecting if I live life as it passes. There are just so much that I still want to learn. And it will be so fun raising such a kid :)

Kento explained the theory to his classmates and all of them wanted to protect Earth.
They were all having fun!!
All of them wanted to do 'Little Red Riding Hood' and changed the storyline. Kento helped by contributing an intelligent paradox thought up by himself.

Kento's machine of happiness
Kento was saying 'Sayonara' to his friends because he was forced to leave school. He presented them with his invention (flag-riser) as a good bye gift. It's a machine involving electromagnets and electric charge. He's our Little King of Invention.
He came back to school :)) to study 2nd grade with his friends.
It's amazing how Yuya and the other kids could memorise the script. It was really filled with scientific terms and theories. Definitely listing this show as my fave.

A 'Rambo' like drama, but it caught my eye. I've always enjoyed observing how experts negotiate in critical situations, such as suicide or kidnapping. It must be my occupational hazard. I'm respectful of professionals who have the ability to communicate with agitated beings, analyse the limited information, and minimise potential harm or damage. It's just too cool!

●● I [ALSO] Want to be Happy! ●●

Starring Kyoko Fukada! Some may say she's kawaii, but to me, she's talented. Well, at least she could portray that silliness and endearing feel in this latest work. Shouldered with debts and responsibilities, she was always pushing herself to do the best. I was quickly addicted to see what 'Asada Hikaru' could do as a 'Assistant Producer'.
The catch of it was that she hasn't even graduated from high school and was already writing her own script. And she has the ability to influence the debt-collector a.k.a loan shark to turn over a new leaf (oh well, this boy obviously fell in love with her).
In her previous show, she was acting more like a bimbotic busty girl in Yama onna Kabe onna, which literally depicts 2 sale-girls (one who is as busty as mountains - Kyoko Fukada, the other as flat as a wall - Ito Misaki). It was a no-brainer kind of slapstick show, one which i relaxed and laughed at the mean jokes, and of course the reality of it. Men~

●● My 3rd ever ●●
Honestly speaking, my opinion of Korean shows are rather blemished. I hate those sappy kind of plots and the truly-draggy-timeline. 'Love Story in Harvard' is my 3rd ever K-drama. Labels: The-Telly
You must be shouting at me for being such a cave-girl or tortoise in this current era. How is it possible that i've only watched 3 K-drama?! Oh well, that's how it is.
Way back (2 years ago), Aloy and Phyllis have already been pushing me to watch this show but i kept shoving it aside. To me, it's just another xxx K-drama. I'm stereo-typing, i know!!!!!! :x
Anyway, I picked it up lately and ta-da! I completely fell in love with it! The love triangle was superb and those subtle delicate feelings were all expressed properly. It wasn't just another dumb show.
It was beautiful.
Oops, except the part where 'Lee Soo In' was doing CPR in an attempt to save the uncle. My goodness, the way she pressed, the poor man would have died of fractured ribs and punctured lungs if it's in real life. That was a sure blooper.

Bara no nai Hanaya <薔薇のない花屋> Labels: The-Telly
After completing the series, the deepest imprint i had was the phrase 'Anonymous Soldiers' - children who had been abused. The psychological damage often goes way beyond than expected. The world is just too cruel at times.
The plot was superb, it's no wonder the show was highly raved. I love the twist at the end when we realised that 'Shizuku's' real dad.
Look at 'Shizuku': KAWAII!!! Yagi Yuuki's just too sweet!

●● Lawyers are Merciless at times ●●
Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai <佐々木夫妻の仁義なき戦い> Labels: The-Telly
This show is a sheer mockery to people who discredit divorce. The Sasaki couple raises 'divorce' as a mere solution to their incompatibility, not once but in almost all quarrels that they had. Both professionals had differing life-styles and personalities which led to sizzling tension.
It was really hilarious. Koyuki was terrific in her role as 'Sasaki Ritsuko' - a wilful, lazy and carefree lawyer. On the other hand, 'Sasaki Norimichi' was a neat, perfectionist and principled lawyer. And so, the two of them fought it out. Sometimes they threw plates, at times they sent each other flying.
I've always enjoyed Koyuki's works, such as Kimi wa Petto (starred Matsumoto Jun) 
and Ikebukuro West Gate Park (starred Tomoya Nagase).
She's such a classic Japanese beauty ♥♥♥

This show left me wondering if it is right to separate in face of marital crisis. Or should a couple stick on? Guess only the involved parties would know. If it's truly an unresolved issue, it would probably do everyone good to go on separate ways. Something of that scale would probably be extramarital affair, at least to me, it is THAT huge of an issue.
